Free. Join us for a casual afternoon gathering at the Campbell family grave in Rosehill Cemetery. We will provide a map with an "X" marking the exact location to registered participants the week before the event.

Mark Campbell (1830-1912) was a prominent jeweler and hair artist in the early days of Chicago and authored the influential book "The Art of Hairwork" in 1867, which remains a significant reference today. Join Zen for storytime (pictures and mementos will be passed around) as she unveils mesmerizing, untold stories about Mark Campbell's life, offering insights into the challenges and triumphs faced by his family and diving into the captivating legacy of hairwork, a timeless art form that has persisted in various forms throughout history.
